Microsoft’s stake

Microsoft, a major investor with more than a billion dollars invested in OpenAI, is notably absent from the list of expected board members. Thomas Hess, chairman of hedge fund Great Hill Capital, highlighted Microsoft’s substantial financial contribution and suggested that Microsoft would likely want to have a say in OpenAI’s board decisions.
